New construction home numbers continue to decline as builders have made some drastic price adjustments in order to move inventory off their books. It is this absorption of inventory, combined with decreased housing starts which are helping our market recover.
If you’re in the market to buy a new home, I strongly suggest you work with a Realtor who represents your interest rather than the agent for the builder. Many local builders use proprietary contracts which have been drafted to significantly favor the builder.
