Current Maple Valley single family home inventory offers a wide variety of properties for sale. There are currently 279 homes for sale within the Tahoma School District boundaries. The highest priced home is $3,950,000 and the lowest price $99,900.
But if you’re looking for something special, here’s a break down of some market niches:
New Construction: If your dream is to start with a clean/fresh palatte, new construction might be your best bet. Currently you have 78 homes from which to choose, ranging from a low of $249,950 to a high of $1.775,000.
Homes on Acreage Having a little more “elbow room” is a common request I get when working with new buyers to the area, or the “move up” buyer who has lived for several years on a smaller subdivision lot. Currently there are 75 homes available on one or more acres. The lowest price is $152,000 and the highest price is $3,950,000
Waterfront Properties: There are numerous waterfront options in Maple Valley; riverfront, creek frontage, as well as several small private and public lakes. Currently there are 9 properties available on lakefront lots or on the Cedar River. Prices range from a low of $152,000 to a high of $3,450,000.
Need a Barn? Have or want to have a horse, goat, sheep, emu or other outdoor critter? You’ll have 16 homes from which to choose ranging from $439,000 to 3,450,000. Just remember, one man’s barn can be another man’s shed.
Single Level Living. My husband and I purchased a rambler a few years ago and after years in a 2 story we are loving it! If your preference is to have Bedrooms and living space all on one level, there are 52 options for you. Prices range from $99,900 (fixer and very small though) to $739,950. Note: some of these homes are in gated 55+ communities.
Bank Owned: In some cases bank owned homes are a great deal, other times the condition of the property doesn’t warrant the asking price and the asset manager in another state just doesn’t understand that….which is why some bank owned properties linger on the market and others are snapped up quickly. If you think bank-owned is the way to go for you with your next purchase, there are 8 in the Tahoma School District, from $99,900 to $498,000.
