Anyone traveling from Maple Valley towards Renton on hot days has noticed the number of cars parked along the road. This week will likely see all available spots taken as we’re likely to experience record setting high temperatures and many people will flock to the Cedar River to cool off while inner-tubing down river. (I know my son plans to be among them!)
I’ve had listings where people can “put in” right at their property and then are picked up further down river in Renton. I personally haven’t ever floated the River, as I’m a bit of a water weenie and prefer the safety of non-rushing water where I know what’s in the water (chlorine) with me.
