Overview
Located just off Witte Road on the South Western corner of Maple Valley is the private community of Cherokee Bay Park which was enjoys a community lakefront park on Pipe Lake. Cherokee Bay is the largest community in Maple Valley with over 800 parcels. Years ago, when many of small lakes in Maple Valley served as recreational destinations for Seattleites, vacation cabins were built as Summer homes along the shores of Lake Lucerne, Pipe Lake & Lake Wilderness. Eventually many of these were replaced with permanent residences as growth moved beyond Seattle boundaries. Today, there is a large community Park with Sports court, play systems and a Clubhouse which can be rented by Members. If you drive by the park on a hot summer day, you’ll see the park loaded with residents and their families swimming and sunning lakeside.
