The Highlands of Lake Wilderness is a community located on the West side of Hwy 169 in central Maple Valley. Built by a variety of builders, the neighborhood flows nicely with curving roads, cul-de-sacs and varying elevations. Styles are comprised mostly of 2 story homes with two and three car garages. Some homes, built on the West side of the development back to the natural area beside Lake Wilderness and may have winter or year ’round views. There is access to the Cedar River trail at the Northwest end of the development.
Built by a variety of builders (Cambridge, LeBaron, Curtis Lang, Murray Franklyn to name a few), the community is comprised of approximately 172 home sites, built predominately between 1994 and 1996 (Although a few lots were built on at later dates). The lots in the Highlands of Lake Wilderness range in size from approximately 7000 sq. ft to over 13,000. Some lots will be flat, others sloped. There are some view lots (Lake &/or Mountain)
