Overview

Located just off Witte Road on the Western edge of Maple Valley is the community of Cedar Downs which was one of the first suburban neighborhoods in town. Most of the 196 single family homes offer deeded rights to the community waterfront park & beach on Pipe Lake. For many years the Cedar Downs equestrian center offered a covered arena and boarding facilities, however a few years ago the property was purchased and subdivided with new homes now being built in it’s place.

Homes

The homes in Cedar Downs were built primarily in the seventies and eighties, but in total the years span 1976 to 2005. This neighorhood will appeal to the person who does not like “cookie-cutter” homes on small lots as the architecture varies from Northwest contemporary to French Tudors and many styles in between!

The lots here range from approximately a quarter of an acre to over a half-acre with the majority being .3 to .4 acres.
