SOLD! Cedar River Waterfront Home-Maple Valley

Update: This sale closed on May 10, 2011.   One of a kind cozy home enjoys 50 feet of frontage on the Cedar River. Originally, there was only a trailer on the property, but over time a few additions were made to enhace the structure; a bedroom, music room/den (once the 2nd bedroom) as well as a spacious Living Room and Dining area with window seat.             The property is full fenced, has a small greenhouse (with power), a workshop (with power), freezer/store room and nice private rear yard in which to entertain, relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of the river beyond. The Army Corps of Engineers built up the dike many years ago and this property has not flooded since. The last flood here according to the owners was in 1990. Currently, this home is being offered at $159,500. There is a possibility of owner financing on this home with a large down payment. Feel free to call or email with questions. Virtual tour coming soon, please check back !

One thing’s for sure though, I definitely don’t miss the muggy heat of Cincinnati or the gnats….I hated them! (I do miss fireflies though) When my husband and I moved to the Puget Sound area in the late ’80′s I was dismayed to find there weren’t very many options for outdoor pools for our kids. There were indoor pools, but how fun is that on a hot day? Silly me, I didn’t realize that when you live in the Northwest and it gets hot, you head
